Relates to a 'stag do' for a guy I went to university with. He was due to be married so we all headed off to Blackpool for a boozy weekend. It's a bit hazy, but at one point, late at night, I distinctly remember running up an empty pier with a guy with red hair, enjoying the sea spray and spooky atmosphere. It felt like we knew each other, but when I asked people whose friend he was the next day, no-one knew him.
